Enjoy Service Enrich Lives
Every California Philharmonic event requires the work of our dedicated volunteer corps. Cal Phil appreciates and depends on the time given by our volunteers to make our concerts and other programs a success. We welcome anyone age 14 to 140! Volunteering allows you to help improve the quality of life in your own community. Volunteering with the California Philharmonic means you get to enjoy world-class performances of great music as a return for donating some of your time and abilities.
There are all sorts of things volunteers can do to help the orchestra—from ushering to answering telephones in the office, from special events to the stage crew, we have volunteer positions that are appropriate for just about anyone. What’s more, our volunteer jobs are FUN!
For more information, please contact the Director of Volunteers at (626) 300-8200 or email volunteer@calphil.org.
Be a part of the crew! Help us create Cal Phil Festival on the Green by volunteering to help with setup on Friday or Saturday of each concert week. We are looking for volunteers of any age, in good physical condition and who able to lift objects of 50 pounds or more.
